We're Not Just Tea & Crumpets

The Woman's Club of Washington Grove was created to promote greater sociability and a betterment of civic and cultural conditions in Washington Grove. At our regular meetings we come together to see and get to know our neighbors, enjoy interesting programs, catch up on town news, and take a short break from our busy lives. Wondering what else we do? We sponsor the autumn potluck dinner, the winter chili supper, the egg hunt, the flower show, and the annual yard sale. The club gives financial support to organizations inside and out of Washington Grove, such as Summer In The Parks, Washington Grove Elementary School, and the Acorn Library. Other service projects are undertaken at the suggestion of members. The clubhouse, which can be rented for private events, serves as an alternate site for the town yoga class. yoga

Yoga Classes » 
Every Tuesday 7 - 8:30 p.m. in McCathran Hall

Weekly classes are still in session. Residents may "drop-in" on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in McCathran Hall. Beginners through advanced are all welcome. Wear comfortable clothes, please leave jewelry at home, bring a mat, a blanket and $10 (or talk to Terry), and prepare for that mini-vacation of the mind. Classes are over at 8:30 p.m.. Come learn to relax.
