MINUTES of the Special MEETING of the Commission

HPC members present: Bob Booher, Chair, Chris Kirtz, and David Neumann.

The agenda for this special meeting consisted of a single item that was to review the application for a building permit for a project at 406 Grove Avenue. David Neumann took minutes for the meeting.

The meeting took place in the area near the kitchen in McCathran Hall. Cookies and refreshments were offered to the members by the organizers of the MouseTrap concert that had just concluded.

Review Session

Plans for the renovation of the kitchen and extension of a deck at 406 Grove Avenue were reviewed. David Neumann agreed to write the review. The review was to be discussed at the meeting on March 21, but as it was not available, it was not discussed then. The special meeting was called to correct the problem.

Old Business

Chris Kirtz explained that he had started the review of the Town Ordinances and suggested that he do this by marking up a copy of the ordinances. He said he would also propose language to address the issue of questions and consultations of individual members of the HPC with residents or applicants, i.e., possible ex-parte discussions of projects with potential applicants for building permits.

The next regular monthly meeting will be on April 18, 2006 at 7:30 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
