John McClelland called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. In attendance were Commissioners Darrell Anderson, Peggy Ebner, Bob Evans, John McClelland, Bud O’Connor and alternate Jim Leng. Also in attendance were residents Chris Kirtz, Terry Kirtz and owner of 8 Circle Maggie Range.

Approval of Minutes

The minutes for November were approved as corrected.

Stop Work Order at 8 the Circle

A Stop Work Order was issued for 8 the Circle due to discrepancies between the approved permit plans and the actual addition being built. Following a discussion between Maggie Range, Chris Kirtz and the Commissioners, it was agreed that a new permit and corrected plans would need to be submitted and approved by the Town before the Stop Work Order would be lifted.

Town Council Report

Darrell Anderson reported that the two unresolved ordinance issues that would be discussed at the next Council meeting are the Commercial Corner and Church School ordinances. The PC discussed the ordinance reviews and made some recommendations regarding commercial vehicles and Bud O’Connor expressed concern regarding the Schedule of Standards changes concerning maximum floor area ratio. Darrell also gave an update on the Council’s actions regarding the illegal use of Cherry Avenue and the Commissioners renewed their support for the Town taking immediate legal action.

Building Permits

The following permits were approved:

  • 115 Chestnut » shed approved
