Vigilance is a key component to help alleviate crime. Please lock car doors and windows and be sure to close and lock doors and windows of your home. Do not hesitate to call the police if an incident occurs. 911 for emergencies and 301-279-8000 for non-emergencies. Calls to either number are answered by the same dispatchers. The operator rates the call and acts according to its level of emergency.
