Have You Lived in Your Home for 40 Consecutive Years?
If you have owned and lived in your home for 40 consecutive years, you may be eligible for a property tax credit. The assessment on your property must be $650,000 or less. Property Tax Credit for Elderly Individuals and for Military Retirees was enacted by the Montgomery County Council in March 2017.
