John McClelland called the meeting to order at 7:36 p.m. In attendance were Commissioners Peggy Ebner, Bob Evans, John McClelland, Bud O’Connor and alternate Jim Leng. Also present was resident Tom Appleby.

Approval of Minutes

The minutes for August were approved as corrected.

Demolition Permit at 112 Chestnut Avenue

Tom Appleby has requested a demolition permit to tear down his house at 112 Chestnut Avenue. He also had questions regarding height restrictions and putting sewage in his two-story shed. He was informed that there should be no problem with the demolition permit but the ordinances do not allow bathrooms in outside buildings.

Ordinance Revision/Ancillary Uses by Methodist Church

The Town attorney will be rewriting the entire ordinance section regarding ancillary uses by the church and will be submitting his recommendations to the Town Council.

Commercial Corner-Twice As Nice

The permit to allow the consignment shop Twice As Nice to move into the Commercial Corner has been approved by the Board of Appeals.
