For those who like to knit, crochet or work with fabric, this year we’re supporting Project Linus.
We’ll be making fleece, knitted or crocheted throws and blankets to help give some security, warmth and comfort to children in foster care or who are seriously ill or traumatized.
On March 21st at 7:00 PM, we’re having a fun evening at the Clubhouse to work on non-sew fleece throws.
We’ll have some fabric available, or you bring your own. Each throw takes two 1.5-yard pieces of non-pill fleece to make a reversible throw.
If you’re interested in working on this project but can’t join us on the 21st, let us know and we’ll get you whatever you need. Contact Wendy Weisbard ([email protected] or 301-758-1097) and Marilynn Frey ([email protected] 301-357-4784).
