Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals is authorized to:

• grant variances from the strict application by the Planning Commission of certain zoning regulations,
• hear and decide requests for special exceptions for uses of properties in the Town’s Commercial Zone, and
• review decisions made by the Planning Commission that the appellant believes to be in error. The Board of Zoning Appeals conducts its hearings on an as-needed basis in the Council Room, North side of the Hall.
