Remarks » As a child, Morgan was adopted by an uncle who lived in Montgomery County and worked as an apprentice in Flodoardo Howard’s apothecary. Morgan was a partner in Zug & Co. contractors, of D.C. See newspaper article-Chief of Police. He was included in the Washington Elite List, 1888, residing at 1341 Q Street NW. Also owned Temple Heights, an estate on Florida Avenue where he once lived.
